I love helping people discover and develop their awareness of music. To see a child play the C scale for the first time and watch their eyes light up is an absolute thrill to me. To watch my older students perform concerts, some with original music, is so rewarding and fills me with pride for their hard work and dedication. I've been blessed to travel the world doing what I love and making music with fantastic players. I've worked in studios, on stages, in churches, and in classrooms all through the unifying power of music.
​Teaching children and adults to participate in that creative process, no matter where they are in their musical journey, is something I consider a privilege.
